The Husky Fund 

The Husky Fund is our big, one-time only fundraising campaign.  Your contributions help fund new educational programs, curriculum additives, behavioral incentives, capital improvements, technology and materials not included in our Fulton County-funded budget to help achieve the highest level of academic and social excellence for our students.

The goal this year is to raise $115,000, including our Business Partners contributions as well.  The Husky Fund campaign runs from August 1 - September 30. We are hopeful to have 100% participation from families at any level they feel led to give. See below for donation levels and click to donate today!

PROGRAMS AND CURRICULUM SUPPORT

In 2023-2024, we continued our annual funding of the Renaissance program science and social studies curriculum additive, Leader in Me program enhancements cultivating leadership and life skills, Orton Gillingham program literacy curriculum additives, Watch Dog Dads, Discovery Lab, Helping Hands, and more. The PTO also funds and supports our Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Program.

TEACHER & COMMUNITY SUPPORT 

The PTO provides $300 per teacher ($500 for specials teachers) for classroom startup funds, mini-grants for teachers and staff, teacher appreciation week, monthly staff hospitality functions and meals, and Meals for Milton PD officers and community members that assist our school.

CAMPUS SUPPORT 

In addition to funding curriculum, programs, events and teacher support, in 2023-24, your Husky Fund donations were able to fund a brand new awning that covers the entire carpool lane so every teacher and every student is covered during morning and afternoon carpool. We also added HOME OF THE HUSKIES privacy mesh fencing around the perimeter of the playground area.  Both of these additions were part of the school safety updates that would not have otherwise been possible without the generosity of our community.

EVENTS & EXTRAS

The PTO works hard to host a variety of schoolwide events throughout the year for students, staff, and families. Additionally, PTO puts forth effort into designing and selling yearbooks and spirit wear, as well as schoolwide participation incentives/visits from the Woot Wagon. Thanks to your Husky Fund contributions, we have made events free of charge for all families.
