Huskies live and work together in packs, just like our SHE family here on the Hill. We synergize to get things done. So, help us Back the Pack to support SHE more than ever in 2023-2024! 

Summit Hill is one of the top schools in the state and part of that is because of the support given by SHE families and Business Partners. Your contributions help us to fund new educational programs, curriculum additives, behavioral incentives, capital improvements, technology and materials not included in our Fulton County-funded budget to help achieve the highest level of academic and social excellence for our students. Husky Fund donations allow us to make a difference for EVERY child in EVERY single classroom.

OUR FOCUS THIS YEAR

OUR GOAL THIS YEAR

Our goal is to raise $100,000 in 2023-2024 which would require 100% participation from families giving $250 per family or at least half of our families donating at the $500 level. Of course, donations at any level are welcomed and appreciated.

Our Husky Fund campaign kicked off Friday, Sept. 1 and runs through Tuesday, Oct. 31. We are hopeful to have 100% participation from families at any level they feel led to give. See more on donation levels below and click to donate today!

PREVIOUS PTO PROJECTS

With the cooperation of our Summit Hill families, teachers, and community, we have continually supported the educational program in many different ways over the years. Check out some of those examples below. 

PROGRAMS AND CURRICULUM SUPPORT

In 2022-23, we continued our annual funding of the following curriculum support and programs: Renaissance program science & social studies curriculum additive; Leader in Me program enhancements cultivating leadership and life skills; Orton Gillingham program literacy curriculum additives; Watch Dog Dads; Discovery Lab; Helping Hands; etc.

TEACHER & COMMUNITY SUPPORT

The PTO provides $300 per teacher ($500 for specials teachers) for classroom startup funds; Additional mini-grants for teachers and staff; Teacher appreciation week events, meals and gifts; Monthly staff hospitality functions and meals; Meals for Milton PD officers and community members that assist our school.

CAMPUS SUPPORT

In addition to funding curriculum, programs, events and teacher support, the PTO donated $50,000 to Summit Hill in 2022-2023 to provide the following campus updates: The new electronic sign at the front of the building; Out-of-state math training for educators; Sphero programmable robots and STEM education technology for our media center.

EVENTS & EXTRAS

The PTO works hard to host a variety of schoolwide events throughout the year for students, staff and families. Additionally, PTO puts forth effort into designing and selling yearbooks and spirit wear as well as schoolwide participation incentives/visits from the Woot Wagon!
