Summit Hill Elementary will participate in the Coins4CURE Campaign again this year

NEXT WEEK - September 16th - 20th (with PJ Day on Friday)!

Last year our students showed that they were PAW PROUD by bringing in their coins and donating to this wonderful cause, raising $1,500!

Coins4CURE is a coin drive fundraiser developed in 2014 by Alpharetta Children’s Dentistry & Orthodontics as a way to raise money for CURE Childhood Cancer. The first Coins4CURE coin drive took place during September, 2015, and had over 230 schools, businesses, and organizations sign-up to participate. Over that time, more than $200,000 has been raised for CURE Childhood Cancer!

How SHE students can help: students are encouraged to bring in any loose change next week and drop it in their house color Coins4Cure container when they arrive at school. The SHE PTO will be in the school atrium every morning next week during arrivals collecting coins near the Husky Houses!

On our final day, Friday, September 20th we will have a PJ Day to Support Childhood Cancer!
Why PJ's (pajamas)?

Children with cancer often spend a great deal of time in their pajamas at home or in the hospital as they undergo critical treatments such as chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery. During this time, they frequently miss school, time with siblings and friends, and other normal childhood activities. Let’s show these boys and girls our support once again by wearing our PJ’s.

Participation is voluntary.
