Discovery Lab

Welcome to the Discovery Lab! Our unique science lab is designed to ignite the imagination and inspire young scientists to explore the wonders of the world around them. From exciting experiments to hands-on learning, it's a place where discovery and fun go hand in hand. Here, SHE K-5th students will reinforce their classroom science lessons and see it come to life.

Each classroom will attend the Discovery Lab 3 times throughout the year; except 5th grade has 4 labs. This stimulating program is funded by your Husky Funds and is completely parent/volunteer-run.

We absolutely need parents or grandparents to volunteer to lead a Station/Experiment. They are short, fun and a great experience! This year, you will sign up for a specific station or as an extra volunteer (if anyone can't make it last minute or as a helper). We absolutely cannot do these labs without you.

LAB Procedures and Videos

Since you signed up for a specific station, you only need to review that station's procedures prior to the lab. You can find the lab documents (which includes procedures, photos and videos) below:
